Video Proposal: "The Progression of Images"

Yesterday Andrew and I discussed our ideas further and have come up with a more defined proposal for our video. Currently the title of our video is "The Progression of Images." Here is the actual progression we wish to present (we've decided to cut the pictograph idea):
  1. Begins with crude hand drawings, which progressively become more realistic
  2. Photographs (around 10-15 fps) - "Mechanical clips" sound
  3. Film (16 fps - 30 fps) - sound continues
  4. Music - "old piano" sound (in mono)
  5. Sound/Speech - introduced by phone ringing, gradually goes to stereo sound
  6. Colour!
  7. End

The plan is to have the progression presented through two characters who are essentially exerperiencing these amazing self discoveries (motion, sound, and colour) together. And as I mentioned before, in a comedic fashion.

During our meeting we also set up a tentative schedule for this production. We also defined the roles of production as well as the location and equipment/technical requirments for this project.(SEE PREVIOUS BLOGS for the details)
